Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled. Blessed are the merciful, for they will… Continue reading fear, distance, love, and hope.
I’ve contemplated sharing my story for years. I’ve written and re-written this story, trying to perfect the words so that I speak as eloquently and gracefully as possible. Over those years, I’ve realized that eloquence is not always necessary, but transparency is. I am sharing my story because 50 innocent lives were taken at Pulse Nightclub… Continue reading Into the Light.
I went to Target this weekend. I know what you're thinking (ew, yucky!), but hear me out first. As I was checking out, I noticed that the cashier was, well, different from me. Which, unless you’ve been shielding yourself from social media, TV,… Continue reading Caitlyn Jenner can bring God the glory
I came up with a mental list of New Year’s Resolutions. One of those was: “I will work on my relationship with God!” I am determined to perfect this relationship. I am determined to be walking so closely with the Lord that our feet may as well be tied together. I will be a Super-Christian.… Continue reading resolutionizing
I read a blog today that annoyed me. It told me to stop singing “Oceans,” a worship song created by Hillsong United. I just knew the author was going to come in with some sweet angle that would leave you thinking “dang. I never considered that about worship. Oh my!” But it didn’t. It kind… Continue reading just keep singing.
